SoHo 7 cafe and bistro located at Armenian street, just a stone’s throw away from SMU is a delightful addition to the growing amount of cafes in the region. Featuring their very own hand-roasted coffee with a variety of blends and single origin types, I was well impressed with the lovely red roaster cum grinder placed lovingly within the restaurant’s small space. Not so impressive was the heavy stench of grilled patties circulating the still air. So much for grilled beef flavoured perfume...
We set about ordering the SoHo Best ever burger ($9.70) and the Bacon Burger (alas, i forgot it’s exact price and name even). Whilst my partner in crime, a.k.a burger assassin had a latte to go along, in active role as his willing accomplice. First of all, let’s just admit that the coffee was delicious, albeit a little common in base notes but still excellent in composition and temperature. The signature SoHo burger looked fantastic in my opinion, it’s moist and tantalizing split of components held down by the edge of a knife. Though my

ReplyDeleteHaha, partner in crime... I like that :)
ReplyDeletehowe: thanks for the camera! I'm just thinking of better ways to protect it now. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteAmasou Umasou: haha. exactly.
If you find a suitable leather half case do let me know, I'm looking for one as well. Just don't get the original case, it flakes after a while.
ReplyDeleteI'm still looking as well unfortunately. Think I'll just get a small pouch for it. Oh btw... I named the cammie Howe. in view that it was passed from a guy named Howe to me. *beams*
ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures!
Have you tried the burgers from either DeBurg or FatBoy's? If so, how would you compare SoHo7's burger to theirs?
Cheers,
Pam
hey pamie,
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by. I've actually tried the burgers at DeBurg but not fatBoy's. you can check out my review here
My bf prefers DeBurg because it's more gourmet he feels, perhaps it the quality of the beef patty. Soho feels more homey cause of the overall presentation. I would like to try FatBoys someday. *hint hint*
