Just like how there are split camps for "biscuits or cream" for Oreos, the same goes for tarts.
Some prefer the crusts, others fancy the filling. If you're a fan of cheese tarts, but only fancy the cream cheese filling, rejoice! PABLO Singapore is releasing Nude, a cheese "tart" without the crust.

Just what the neighbourhood needs is another wine bar. Note, the lack of sarcasm in my voice. No, it's not a double innuendo. I persevere in proving my point, the bereft of chill-out joints in the creative enclave of Tiong Bahru a mystery to me seeing alcohol's ability to 'inspire'. Merci Marcel, the latest lifestyle concept doled out by the same folks behind O' Comptoir and O' Batignolles brings the same winning formula of wine and cheese dressed up in a more articulate vibrant manner.
Operation Dagger: #6 in Asia's 50 Best Bar launches new seasonal menu
Bone marrow, tomato beer, fermented red cabbage, cucumber skin and goats cheese? I threw a furtive uneasy glance at Luke Whearty as he hands me the new seasonal menu of 'dangerous drinking water' and 'natural' ferments, comfortably bubbling away underneath the staircase leading down to the tipple dungeon.
Recently awarded #6 in Asia's 50 Best Bars, Operation Dagger is in a world of its own, especially where speakeasies are slowly bed-ridden in a twist of fate, and Asian-themed libations to match Mod-Sin cuisine are superfluous. This strikingly raw bedecked bar has no identity problem. Drinks are cutting edge with the star power being it's holistic savoury approach. No need for solid sustenance here when you can get flavors as arresting as banana bread and fermented coconut wine translated into joy juices.

Rise and Shine! Brunch in Singapore is bigger than ever. You can barely set foot out of your front door during the weekend (or miss out on social media) without stumbling across a mugshot of avocados on toast or finding the waft of buttery waffles in the air. A spin-off from the popular jazz brunches in New York and London, Montreux Jazz Cafe in Orchard introduces their new weekend brunch experience, highlighted by a slew of Singapore's brightest jazz talents serenading patrons with their soothing vocals as you throw back the champagne (ferociously). To start off your weekend in style, this is the place you gotta be.

Viaggio Italiano at Basilico reaches its halfway mark after Executive Chef Angelo Ciccone took diners on a culinary tour of Sicily and Sardinia. Now from the 1st July to 30th Sep 2015, Basilico explores the flavors of South Italy which counts for a great part of the history of Italian cuisine and continues in the last leg of the Italian epicurean journey showcasing dishes from North Italy from 1st Oct to 31st Dec' 2015.
Exclusive to the dinner seating, the Basilico's Basilissimo dinner menu comprises of an antipasti and dessert buffet that is tagged along with ala-carte main course options. Needless to say, the antipasti spread was rad, and the same can be lamented of the interior design of the establishment. Beautifully cool marbled counter tops and opulent lamp shades casting muted lighting across the luxurious space. What lavish interiors. It just oozes money. And, it is in this space that, you know that your stomach is in capable hands.
