Butcher's Kitchen @ Suntec City: More than Meats the Eye

Fans of The Butcher rejoice! The well loved butchery has opened a retail restaurant concept at Suntec City, where you can not only shop a selection of organic, free-range, non-GMO grain or grass-fed meats but you can also taste them!

Stop by for breakfast from 10am, the Butcher's Burger Dog ($10) make for a decent meal or go for the Four Cheese Pizza ($25) that will satisfy the appetite of most cheese-lovers out there. The Chicken Breast with Marinade is a must-try on the menu. Priced affordably at just $16, the meat is lean yet tender and tasty from its sweet teriyaki marinade. I could easily polish off two plates of this seemingly healthy dish without feeling guilty about the calories - it's that good.

But if you have more adventurous taste-buds, you should give the gelato ice-cream at Butcher's Kitchen a try. With unusual flavors ($5.80 per scoop for regular flavours or $6.80 per scoop for the premium ones) ranging from bubblegum to salted egg, chendol, Guinness Stout, Tiger Beer and - I kid you not - Chilli Crab. You'll need an open mind or an open stomach to go with that open taste-buds of yours. Sampling of gelato is allowed, perfect for those who shun from early commitment.
